Keith Harvey

Principal

Keith Harvey is the principal of Ambry Legal. Prior to establishing the firm he was the chief finance officer of an unlisted public company with an annual turnover in excess of $450m. He has held senior finance positions with one of the world's largest gold producers and three major Australian trading banks and has been a director and/or company secretary of several listed and unlisted public companies.

Keith has extensive business banking and merchant banking experience and has been involved with raising debt and equity capital across a wide range of industries including raising tax-effective capital for projects in the mining, aviation, health and power industries. Keith is also principal of a business that holds an Australian Financial Services License allowing him to advise on and deal in a wide range of financial products.

Keith has presented a large number of lectures and seminars for a variety of professional organisations and private clients. He has taught banking law at Monash and Curtin universities. He has published many journal articles and four books on taxation law.

Keith is a Fellow of CPA Australia and the Taxation Institute of Australia. He is practicing member of the Law Institute of Victoria.
